Bhagath

Yo, born on September 27, 1907,
in a country that descended straight from heaven,
at that time, bein' ruled by those who were craven
from the moment they came till they left us clean-shaven,
now, let's get back to our Hero, born out-spoken,
grew up to be the man who allowed the rope to tighten,
yeah, tightened to neck for his nation to get freed,
but those muthafuckaz didn't stop the killin'-spree,
case was the same when he was a child, thangz he shouldn't have seen,
yeah, the enemy empire was on a killin'-spree,
as a child he adopted non-violence, Gandhi's methodology,
but he gave it up in silence on seein' his people gettin killed mercilessly,
losin' their respect at the hands of the powerful enemy,
seein' the number of families decreasin' drastically,
he took to violence, was ready to face the enemy's mighty military,
dreamed about settin' this nation free from that monarchy,
yeah, monarchy that reflected the perfect tyranny,
he raised the word I-N-Q-U-I-L-A-B,
formed H.S.R.A., rise of the revolution, finally,
love for his motherland got him into penitentiary,
for fellow Indians, went to fast for a better jail facility,
the decision that he took wasn't that easy,
coz the number of dayz he went on was 63,
then came 1931's March 23,
to take the entire nation to a state-of-melancholy,
he let the death rein over his body,
but the soul was alive listenin' to the nation's elegy,
yeah, still alive for reincarnation, still searchin' for a body.

the name's Bhagath Singh,
it's upto ya to stand up and sing, (for the sake of the nation),
the song of praise for the person who left his kith and kin, (for the sake of the nation),
now, start givin' him respect coz he chose death to win, (for the sake of the nation),
ya ain't gonna do it? Consider yoself doin' a big sin.

R.I.P. Bhagath...

Dedicated to all the real freedom fighterz and Veer-Amar Jawanz...
